Bench Trials of New Wines

Come taste new wines we are experimenting with, and help shape our wines to come! Almost every Saturday and Sunday during the first quarter enjoy samples of new wines in progress, including an orange Port style (with and without chocolate), a raspberry Port, perhaps pomegranate wine or Port, and several new variations on the chocolate infused theme--including an off-dry dark chocolate based on our 2008 De Chaunac RS. Also in the first quarter, our new Estate Bottled 2009 Chancellor should be released. This wine made from Chancellor grapes grown in our own vineyard is the richest, ripest, most full-bodied Chancellor we've ever made. We just wish we were going to get more than the 64 cases we expect to have. Don't miss the fun!
